Cameron A Hill
Prior to calling in Scotland in 2007 Cameron Hill was admitted in England and Wales and Bermuda in 1997 and 1999 where he has advised and appeared in company/commercial disputes as well as family matters. He continues to practise in both Scotland and Bermuda.
He has advised in commercial disputes involving documentary credits, ISDA and ISMA Agreements, maritime claims including chaterparty and bill of lading disputes under the Hague and Hague-Visby Rules as well as insurance/re-insurance coverage disputes. Cameron has advised in all areas of company law including insolvency and restructuring, schemes of arrangement (shareholder and creditor), unfair prejudice applications and shareholder/director disputes. He has also acted in relation to divorce and applications ancillary to divorce.
Cameron is a former contributor to Lawtel in relation to practise and procedure and is a contributor the World Bank/Harvard University Comparative Law Encyclopaedia. He is a graduate of the Université de Paris I – Panthéon – La Sorbonne and is fluent in French. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
