R Gilmour Ivey QC

Many years practice in personal injury litigation has given Gilmour Ivey a depth of knowledge and experience. He acts for both pursuers and defenders.

In addition to general personal injury work with involvement in both proofs and jury trials, he has experience in industrial disease claims including asbestos exposure, isocyanate exposure, nitrogen dioxide exposure ('welders lung'), VWF, hearing loss and dermatitis. He also practices in professional negligence, mainly solicitors' and medical negligence, and also has experience in litigating property damage claims such as fire and flood damage to buildings.
