Gordon W Lamont

Gordon Lamont has a broad range of experience of all types of personal injury work. His specialisms include aviation, fatal accident inquiries and criminal injuries compensation. He has been involved as counsel in the legal proceedings connected with most of the air accidents in Scotland over the last 8 years. In addition, he has experience of lengthy inquiries involving deaths in custody and in hospital.

He is qualified as a tutor on the foundation course for the Faculty of Advocates. For the last 6 years he has co-presented the training seminar on civil jury trials.

He was Legal Assistant to the Lord President in 1998/1999, and prior to this, he was a solicitor for 7 years specialising in personal injury work.
