Heather M R Carmichael

Previously a solicitor in the Government Legal Service for Scotland, Heather Carmichael has formerly dealt with issues of public and human rights law, as well as Land Register litigation and certain aspects of agricultural law (in the areas of animal health and subsidies).

Since coming to the bar, she has been involved in personal injury litigation for both pursuers and defenders, including medical negligence cases, judicial review, and a Fatal Accident Inquiry as well as some criminal prosecution work.
