James R Campbell QC

James Campbell was admitted to the Faculty in 1984 and took Silk in 1997. He now mainly practises in all aspects of personal injury claims, including medical negligence cases. See, for instance, the following:

James is Chair of the Advocates Professional Negligence Law Group, and has been the Faculty representative on the Ogden Working Party since 2000. He is still also very interested in property and land law. See, for instance, the following cases:

Since joining the Faculty, James has also served as Standing Junior Counsel to HM Customs & Excise (1993-1994) and as an Advocate Depute (1995-1997).
