Morag A F Jack

Prior to calling to the bar, Morag Jack worked in private practice having qualified as a solicitor in 1989.

Since coming to the bar, Morag has developed a wide ranging practice at both the civil and criminal bars. Her practice is directed particularly to Mental Health, Educational Law and aspects of Family Law.

Her criminal practice encompasses cases in both the High Court and the Sheriff Courts, including proceedings arising from the Proceeds of Crime legislation.

Morag was appointed an ad hoc Advocate Depute in 2006. She has been a Convenor of the Additional Support Needs for Scotland Tribunal since 2005.

She is the Treasurer of the Faculty of Advocates Criminal Bar Association.
