Vinit Khurana

Vinit Khurana qualified in medicine from Edinburgh University in 1988. He worked as a General Practitioner before returning to Edinburgh University to qualify in Law in 1995.

He called to the bar in 1999, since when his main areas of specialism have been professional negligence and regulatory work. He has been instructed for both defenders and pursuers as well as appearing at a number of Fatal Accident Inquiries. In 2005 Vinit was appointed a Standing Junior to the Scottish Ministers.

Since May 2006 Vinit has been an Advocate Depute.
