Developments and changes in housing law – Westwater Advocates in major seminar

Westwater Advocates is to jointly sponsor with the Legal Services Agency a major seminar on housing law. The seminar, to be held on 29 February in Glasgow, will look at important recent developments and future changes in housing law and practice in Scotland.

Papers will be delivered at the seminar by counsel from Westwater Advocates with a wide range of experience on housing matters, and there will also be input from the experienced housing team at the LSA.

Seminar speakers will include Sir Crispin Agnew of Lochnaw Bt, QC, on judicial review issues; Adrian Stalker, Advocate, on human rights and equality issues and their impact on housing; David Anderson, Advocate, on issues including changes affecting tenancies in private and public sectors; Jane Rattray, Advocate, on letting agents and other issues; and Mark Lazarowicz, Advocate, on housing and non-UK nationals.
