Yesterday Westwater Advocates, in conjunction with the Legal Services Agency, delivered a very successful Education law conference with an emphasis on special needs and disability issues in education.

Stable members delivered talks on special education needs appeals, disability issues in education, a case law update on special needs, on placing requests and school closures.

Talks were given by other speakers on the impact of dyslexia in education and practical problems for local authorities from all these cuts.

Sir Crispin Agnew QC, who chaired the conference, said “The conference was very well attended and the feedback I got from delegates was very positive with requests that we hold another next year.”
