More than 100 people attended the Westwater Advocates/Legal Services Agency (LSA) seminar on housing law, which was held in Glasgow earlier this week. Delegates from local authorities, housing associations, solicitors’ firms, law centres, and advice centres heard a wide range of talks on current issues in housing law, delivered by advocates from Westwater along with solicitors from LSA.
Susan Bell, Seminar Manager of LSA said: ‘Housing law is an important area for both the strategic aims and service users of LSA, and we are therefore appreciative of the expertise that Westwater Advocates were able to provide to our conference. This conference was not only very important and informative, but also received an overwhelmingly positive reception from those who attended.”
The seminar was chaired by Westwater’s Sir Crispin Agnew QC who also spoke on judicial review issues, and advocates David Anderson, Mark Lazarowicz, Jane Rattray and Adrian Stalker also delivered papers.
