Westwater Advocates’ second Multi-Disciplinary Conference was acknowledged yesterday as another invaluable contribution to the state of legal knowledge in the profession in Scotland. Over 60 delegates attended the MacKenzie Building, Edinburgh to hear addresses from leading practitioners of Weswtater Advocates on diverse areas of Scots law.
Morag Wise QC, who chaired the day’s proceedings, said, “Yesterday was a unique opportunity for those who practise in different areas of law to obtain up-to-date knowledge from leaders in their fields. Every talk was extremely well received and the delegates all left having had a great deal to take in.”
