Four advocates from Westwater Advocates have been re-appointed to the Panel of Preferred Counsel for the Equality and Human Rights Commission in Scotland.  Juliette Casey, David Hay, Alice Stobart and Ken McGuire had held appoints to the EHRC’s previous Panel and were selected once again after a fresh, competitive application exercise.  All four have been appointed as Band B Counsel, being senior juniors capable of leading in complex cases.  All four have their expertise in the employment field recognised from other sources, with the group all being recommended in the Chambers UK Bar Guide, with others recommended in the Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal UK Bar amongst them.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission have appointed 17 advocates and one solicitor advocate to their panel of preferred counsel in Scotland.

Stable director Calum MacNeill QC said: “We are delighted that the EHRC have continued to recognise the abilities of our advocates in these further appointments to the Commission’s Panel of Preferred Counsel.  It serves as further confirmation that Westwater Advocates is a recognised leader in the field of employment law at the Scottish Bar.”
