Greg Sanders’s new book “A Practical Guide To The Right to Roam in Scotland” comes after he “identified a gap in the market for a comprehensive, practical guide looking at the competing interests of landowners and ramblers”.

Published in March 2023 by Law Brief Publishing, and further to Anstalt v Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority [2018] CSIH – 22, this book concentrates on part 1 of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 and addresses matters such as Occupiers Liability and contains detailed guidance on how to litigate matters arising; primarily section 14 notices. It will assist practitioners, ramblers, land owners and non-lawyers.

Greg Sanders has been involved in numerous property cases since calling to the Scottish Bar in 2001. These have included Right to Roam cases acting for Landowners and Ramblers including representing the pursuers in Creelman v Argyll and Bute Council 2009 S.L.T (Sh Ct) 165.
